Middletown Middle will close at noon today due to smoke in an electrical panel, according to the Frederick County Public School District.

During a public hearing last night, Frederick County Commissioners heard from several residents who feel the revised New Market Region plan will bring economic hardship to the community.

The Greater Chesapeake and Potomac Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross is seeking volunteers.
